Services & Formats We Offer

We are also willing to customize a plan for you.

SUNDAY SERVICES Typically involves a Sunday School lesson for adults and youth, plus an expository message from God's Word on some aspect of apologetics. Might also include a luncheon and seminar, and/or an evening service.

WEEKEND SERIES OF SERVICES Typically 4-5 sessions, Saturday morning and/or evening through Sunday evening. Might include a special drama presentation or video feature.

WEEKLONG SERIES Can be tailored to the individual situation, but this option is ideal for an Adult Daily Vacation Bible School class, or for a Summer Camp or Missions Conference.

MIDWEEK SEMINAR OR SERVICE A one-day or one-evening event like a seniors luncheon, a Bible study, or a retreat.

SPRING SYMPOSIUM ON CHRISTIAN EVIDENCES Geared for all ages / typically features resource speakers, interactive exercises, position papers, and special music.

FALL FORUM An annual event featuring a variety of topics and formats from year to year, e.g., exchanges with those representing other worldviews, interviews, debates, roundtables, dialogue dinners, and panel discussions.

APOLOGETICS RESOURCE REFERENCE Referrals and critiques available by telephone or e-mail, drawn from our extensive library and database of resource reviews and notes. AIIA also publishes an annual topically-arranged Index of 100 Leading Apologetics Resources, available upon request at no cost.

MINISTRY CONSULTATION Creative, experienced input and ideas for designing an apologetics emphasis in your local church or ministry group. This might include recommending or ordering apologetic resource material for your church library.

SKEPTICS' FORUM An actual or mock debate, promoted and staged in a non-threatening facility in your community.

AIIA LIBRARY RESOURCE MATERIAL Includes original AIIA-designed handouts, over ten years' worth of searchable Thoughletter articles on a CD-ROM, apologetic video sets available on loan, and other printed material.

YOUTH STRATEGIES Apologetics rallies or conferences especially designed for public high school Bible clubs and church youth groups.

SHORT-TERM MENTORING RETREATS Short-term mentoring and equipping visits to our home base in north central Maine by interested church leaders, designed to promote apologetics in the local church by spending individual time with those who already have a heart for apologetics but who would benefit from additional direction.

Areopagus PROCLAMATION thoughtletter Our monthly thoughtletter is an invaluable tool for helping believers to develop a creative, relevant, and informed witness to skeptics, friends, neighbors, and other inquiring minds. Supply us with the names and addresses of any or all whom you believe might benefit from receiving it, and we'll mail it to them monthly, without obligation.

Precarious Times, Perceptive Voices: A Colloquy on the Pressing Warrant for Effective Christian Apologetics in the Third Millennium Features a team of participants presenting a range of thought-provoking material.

Tackling the Riddle of Why God Allows Suffering This is aone-two month project involving an organized essay competition, complete with judges, awards, and an evening of winning paper presentations. We'll work with your group to put the plans together.

How Reliable is the Bible? This interative event employs an actual live original AIIA-developed participatory exercise that illustrates the process of Biblical MSS transmission and the reliability (or lack thereof) of some modern-day Bible translations.

Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ Features an excellent Radio Bible Class video on this subject as a resouce for interactive discussion. Other apologetics-related topics are also available.
